Stephny Ofreneo is a multi-faceted marketing creative, turned emerging abstract artist and web designer. Having over 18 years of advertising agency experience in NYC, Chicago, and London, she stretched her right-brain branding skills and turned to a physically creative medium of acrylic painting. Since leaving the 9-to-5, she has dived into this second career by referencing influences of Bali island life, in order to capture meaningful visions in her paintings that spark the heart + make the soul sing. Stephny’s brushstroke technique is channeled by emotions pulled from music + experiences. Her artwork is interpretive + is meant to have you feel...not just see.
Part of her unique process with clients is to ask for specific songs they like, while visualizing the space that will hold the artwork, as well as to listen to their life stories. Stephny then paints with these selected songs, in order to encapsulate the vibe in the personalized piece.
Stephny is a first-generation Filipino-American, Creative Artist in the physical and digital realms. Born-and-raised in central Illinois, USA, she now splits her time between NYC and Las Vegas, NV, and travels globally. Follow the adventure @stephy_ny.
